Love Anyway. Show Up. Get Out Of The Way.
These are the values of Preemptive Love, a global movement of peacemakers changing the way we engage the world’s most polarizing conflicts by confronting fear with acts of love.
Since their inception, what they are doing and the story of it’s founder amidst the backdrop of our country’s culture is the most mind-blowing, radical act of rebellious love. They have many videos on their vimeo page, most of them which end with a call to donate, which I wholeheartedly and unashamedly post anyway, because I am so proud and grateful for what they are doing.
Here’s a quote from their own website:
Yes, we all have our own politics. Yes, we have our own religion. Love anyway. Step out across enemy lines and embrace conflict rather than run. Your love has the ability to transcend guilt, shame, and indifference. Wrap your arms around those you fear, and invite others to do the same.
